Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

AnglicanHeritage.com Effective Date: May 12, 2026

This is a minimal website that hosts public-domain historical Anglican documents and offers an optional email list for announcements about new content.

Privacy Policy

We collect only the information necessary to operate this site, to respond to inquiries, and — for newsletter subscribers — to send occasional announcements.

General visitors. We collect no personal information from visitors to the website. The site uses no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking tools. There are no user accounts.

Newsletter subscribers. When you subscribe to our update list, we collect your email address, first name, and last name. We also record the date, time, and IP address of your subscription request for anti-spam and compliance purposes.

How subscriber data is used. Subscriber data is used solely to send announcements about new content published on AnglicanHeritage.com. We do not sell, rent, or share subscriber data with any third party for marketing purposes.

Contact form. Our contact form collects your name, email address, and the content of your message. Submissions are sent directly to the site administrator by email and are not stored in the website database. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties.

Third-party processors. Two services act as data processors on our behalf. MailPoet, operated by Automattic Inc., handles email list collection, storage, and delivery for the newsletter. Akismet, also operated by Automattic Inc., screens contact form submissions to filter spam; it evaluates submission metadata including sender name, email, IP address, and message content.

Retention. Newsletter subscriber records are retained while your subscription is active. Unsubscribed records are marked inactive and no longer used for mailings. Contact form submissions exist only as emails to the site administrator and are retained at the administrator’s discretion. You may request full deletion of your data at any time by replying to any announcement email or by contacting us through the contact form.

Your choices. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of your data by replying to any announcement email or by contacting us through the contact form.

Cookie Policy

The website does not set cookies or use any equivalent tracking technologies. Announcement emails contain no tracking pixels or wrapped links.
